I think it’s fair to say that 90% of what i do on a shoot is hunt for perfect light, i kinda feel like i may have hit the jackpot today…

we spent the day with the sun warming our backs in a lovely little spot, shooting for a super exciting new project that i am absolutely stoked to be a part of!

more will be coming in the next couple of months.

but for now, here is a shhneaky little sneak peek….

It’s pretty cool when you can say to someone, “hey, would you mind sitting in the middle of Lambton Quay with this parasol and look like you’re having HEAPS OF FUN” and they reply with “sure thing!!”

And that’s exactly why I flipping love working with Jess.

Bringing Colour to Lambton Quay

So, here’s my entry into Wellington Fashion Week photographer’s exposed competition.

Our brief was basically to portray what Wellington fashion means to us using our own individual style…

To me, Wellington is a colourful place. We have such a diverse culture jam-packed with cool and quirky characters… I wanted my image to reflect that vibrance I see in the culture of the city, bringing that brightness and colour into the bustling business centre of Lambton Quay.

Anyway, hope you like it… I just had heaps of fun giggling with Jess as people in suits gave us strange looks ;)

The first was in the beautiful Akaroa, which greeted me with a very warm welcome when I first flew in….

The second was here in Wellington… This is the lovely Kanitha and James, such a gorgeous couple!
